On Existence 3

Friday, February 29th, 2008

By Richie Fortenberry So then, at its center, existence is an equation that only involves the individual and God. Every other aspect stems from this. From these conditions of existence comes the purpose of existence: the acting out of the will of God. It has been demonstrated thus far that, in this “equation” of existence, there exists no variables. In short, nothing can be done to extinguish your existence, and nothing can be done to change the fact that your existence is before God (played out in before God). These things are constant. Now, then, our commitment to God (and to the following of the will of God) at its purest state must have the same conditions as those of our existence. Therefore, our commitment to God is between self and God. Again, this is an equation with no variables. It, at its purest, only involves the world around us to the degree that the will of God involves the world around us. Romans 5:8-”But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:10-”For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” John 8:28-”So Jesus said, ‘When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am {He,} and I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me.’” How is it that a man could not only live in a world full of enemies, but also be abused, scorned, and ultimately murdered by them–and still show nothing but love for them? Even while they were murdering Him, Jesus prayed that they would be forgiven. Here is the ultimate example of pure commitment to the will of the Father. If there exists no variables in ones commitment to God–if there only exists the individual and God in the equation–then nothing can affect that commitment in the least. The will of God was that His “enemies” be reconciled to Him “through the death of His Son. His will was love for humanity. There was no other variable in the equation. There was just the Son and the Father. No other thing had any weight. It should also be stated that, if there exists any variables in our commitment to God, there exists those same variables in our commitment to love, and visa versa. In other words, if our commitment to God waivers according to how fairly we feel we are being treated, so our commitment to love will also waiver. So then, it becomes our plight to eliminate all of the variables in our commitment to God and the following of His will. The main problem with this is that, at some level or in some area(s), we see God as a function of man (as opposed to man as a function of God). For instance, have you ever thought about what God did before He created man? If you asked the question, “What does God do,” you would rarely hear an answer that did not involve God’s interactions with man. If you asked, “What does man do,” you would rarely hear an answer that involved God. This represents the idea of God as a function of man. Basically, we are self-oriented and that is a bad thing. We need to overcome this mentality in order to develop a pure commitment to God. Edible Flowers

Friday, February 29th, 2008

By Bruce Burnett The bud may have a bitter taste, But sweet will be the flowr. William Cowper If the idea of eating flowers strikes you as fanciful or faintly ridiculous, how do you feel about broccoli? Or asparagus? These common vegetables are, in fact, immature flowers. And when you leave your broccoli in the garden too long and it develops yellow flowers, it is indeed still edible. The flowers of most herbs are edible, usually imparting a similar, but milder flavour than the herb itself. Steady favourites include sage (especially pineapple sage) hyssop, basil, borage, chamomile, dill, fennel, chives, oregano, lavender, marjoram, mustard, clover, linden, rosemary, scented geraniums, thyme, sweet woodruff and winter savory. One of the most enduringly popular edible flowers, calendula, or pot marigold, is in fact an herb. Probably the top six edible flowers, the ones that appear most often as garnishes in high-end restaurants are: nasturtiums, roses, calendula, violets, Johnny-jump-ups (known by herbalists as heartsease or viola tricolor) and squash blossoms (usually from the zucchini). However, there are countless others, too many to list here. Some of your favourite flowers you might be surprised to learn are edible, including: tulips, lilacs, daylilies (popular in Chinese hot & sour soup), the English or wild daisy, carnations and chrysanthemums. The flowers of many fruits and vegetables add colour and nutrition to many a meal. Apples blossoms and the flower of the runner bean are prime examples. Albeit, and this cannot be emphasised strongly enough, many flowers are poisonous or toxic and unless it has been reliably documented as edible by its botanical name, do not eat it! Also, do not eat flowers from a florists shop or garden centre. Only eat flowers grown in a totally organic garden. Plants will absorb herbicides, pesticides and chemical fertilizers from the soil. Other edible flower caveats: If you suffer from hay fever, asthma or allergies, be wary of eating edible flowers. They could trigger a reaction. If wild-crafting edible flowers, be absolutely certain that you have correctly identified the species. And dont pick flowers from the side of the road. They will be contaminated by car exhaust. Remove the pistils, stamens and sepals from the flower and the bitter white area at the base of the petal. Check carefully for any insect hitchhikers. Wash the flowers carefully in cool water and drain them on clean cotton or paper towels. Its probably best to grow your own edible flowers. Sourcing them at retail can be a challenge, although some of the natural and organic stores now carry them on a seasonal basis. The most common use of edible flowers, just like parsley, is as a garnish. This is a waste. Edible flowers offer a wealth of taste including sweet, spicy, floral, minty and citrus. Salads are the usual beneficiary of edible flowers, but they can be creatively used in cooking also. Try adding borage or calendula flowers to cooked rice or violets to an omelette. Deep-fired sage blossoms are a popular side dish. Here are a three very simple recipes using common edible flowers: Blend chopped nasturtium petals with cream cheese or butter and spread on very thin slices of dark pumpernickel bread for savory appetizers or snacks. Honeysuckle Strawberry Sorbet: Use only the Lonicera japonica species of honeysuckle. Cut the pistils and stamens from half a cup of honeysuckle flowers. Blend these with three cups of strawberries, hulled and halved, in a blender or food processor. Process until smooth and then pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze. Johnny Fruit Salad: Peel, section and cut two oranges into bite-sized pieces; add one medium bunch of green, seedless grapes; two cups of strawberries, hulled and halved; one apple, peeled, cored and cut into bite-sized pieces, two kiwi fruits, peeled and thinly sliced. Mix the fruit in a non-reactive bowl (preferably glass) and refrigerate for two hours. Serve in four individual bowls, garnished with five Johnny-jump-up flowers in each bowl. Similar to herbs, many edible flowers have medicinal qualities. Nasturtiums, native to South America, were a time-honoured Andean remedy for wounds and chest infections, being a powerful antibiotic. Honeysuckle flowers are antispasmodic and were traditionally used to relieve coughs. Honeysuckle is also one of the Bach Flower Remedies and is believed to counter feelings of nostalgia and homesickness. Johnny-jump-ups are a purifying herb and are used for skin conditions such as eczema. Edible flowers offer an abundance of taste and visual delight in the kitchen, but caution should be king. In some jurisdictions, all flower garnishes must be edible by law, but dont assume this everywhere. If in doubt, dont eat it and brush up on your botany! Valentines Day Wine And Food Ideas

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

By John Maier Once again Valentines Day is here and even though it may not be official holiday it is a very important day for the women in our life. So while we have some time lets plan ahead for the big even and make it a great day for that special someone. There are many different ways to celebrate this special day from the simple method just buying flowers and maybe some candy to the much more involved level of not buy the above items but also other items like jewelry. It will very depending on how you feel about this holiday after we all dont celebrate it. But below are some good ideas that you can try this year and that will help make this day special. Lets start off with a simple plan for Valentines day start off by buy some flowers usually a Roses are nice but you cant mix them with other flowers as well along with a nice vase if you dont already have one. The next step is to get some candy and wine because in this step we are going to do some pairing of wine food. When pairing wines with chocolate, your best bet is to match lighter, more elegant flavored chocolates with lighter bodied wines and likewise, the stronger the chocolate, the more full-bodied the wine should be. A good example is a bittersweet chocolate tends to pair well with an intense in your face California Zinfandel now a more subtle white chocolate ends to be mellower flavor, making it an ideal candidate for a Sherry. This could make a very interesting and unique Valentines Day. Of course you might not need the chocolate candies at all depending on what your mate likes a good wine can be by itself can be nice way to celebrate. Another good idea plan is to go with more then just the flowers and candy plus but you add a romantic dinner with wine. Something about a candle light dinner with that special someone and if by chance you have children find a baby sitter after all it is pretty hard to set a romantic setting with your children playing with there food. If you feel like making the dinner yourself then go for it you can find lots of great recipes on our website listed below as well as others. Now if you dont feel like cooking then order out from a good restaurant which I would recommend you do ahead of time well before that evening. Another good idea plan would to plan a get away possible to nice bed and breakfast in Wine country. Not only is this a great way to spend time together for this holiday but it can also be a great way to celebrate other special events. There is nothing like getting away from it all and relaxing in the country and enjoy local wine food matching. Of course this idea you need to plan ahead for the event and make sure that you get your get your plane tickets and reservations at the bed and breakfast and I would suggest calling at least 4 to 6 months head of time depending on where you plan on going. Hopefully these Valentines Day ideas will help you this year or at least give you some new ideas for that special day. Of course with any special day remember to have fun and enjoy each others company and maybe dance the night away with each other. The most important thing to remember as you celebrate trying new wine food matching is to have fun and enjoy yourself with your family and enjoy the food, wine and conversation. The Ultimate Exfoliating Treat

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

By Ivy Mills Youve had a busy week and now its time to get what you truly deserve - a spa quality exfoliating treatment. A weeks worth of skin has piled up and started to make your complexion just a little duller than normal, moisturisers dont seem to do what they used to and you really need to spoil yourself before you resort to a quart of ice-cream. Banish the gray tint from your skin by exfoliating once a week. Those with oily skin can pull it off twice a week without a hitch. Keep in mind though, that more is not necessarily better - layers of dead skin protect the new skin underneath. Dont do this everyday.8 Step Deluxe Treatment 1. So where to start? Before you get wet, use a dry loofah sponge to slough off the really loose skin - dont scrub, just run it over your skin gently. 2. Get wet (unless you use Coco Luv Chocolate Body Scrub - its for use on dry skin). 3. Apply an exfoliant with hands or a cloth, rubbing in a circular motion. Spend some time with this step - the idea here is not just to scrub off the dead skin, but to stimulate circulation as well. (I should note here that the more time you spend scrubbing your behind, the faster you will be able to break up the fatty deposits that cause the appearance of cellulite.) 4. Rough spots deserve a little more attention. Really rough spots, like heels, might need the help of a pumice stone to soften them up. 5. Rinse off thoroughly. Do not use soap. 6. Dry off. 7. Apply an intensive moisturiser head to toe. 8. Wrap up in your favourite bathrobe and snuggle up with a good book and a cup of tea. So, if your now thinking Great, like I have time for all that! Try this one on for size:The Quickie So you gotta clean yourself anyway right? Forget the soap - Do a salt glow! Grab a handful of bath salt and add a couple squirts of bath & body oil to it. Now scrub your wet self like a madwoman. This can be a heavy duty scrub (lots of salt, a little oil) or a gentle scrub (lots of oil, a little salt) - it’s your choice. Now rinse, dry and taadaa - Your done! Now give yourself a quick second to admire your butter-soft skin. Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

By Randy J. Menvor We all like to receive gifts. Surprisingly enough, most of us also like to give gifts. Giving gifts gives us the feeling of doing something good. It makes us happy to see someone enjoy the fruits of our labors. As strange as it may sound giving gifts can be an emotional pick me up. Everyone thinks of giving and receiving gifts during the holiday season. What about the rest of the year? Think about this for a moment. Whenever you give someone gifts, how many times do you see a frown? It doesn’t happen. The person was happy to be remembered, and truly glad you took the time to buy gifts. This becomes even more apparent when there is no special day or event causing you to give gifts. What could be more delightful, than to realize someone is thinking of you? This concept works wonders for the giver and the receiver. It really is not about the price of gifts. Regardless of cost, gifts have hidden value that cannot be bought. Gifts are a wonderful way to bond a relationship. Family, friend, or significant other, special unexpected gifts enrich and promote growth in a relationship. You don’t have to buy a gift for your partner or loved one every day as this would be both very expensive also a little habitual and boring. Gift giving should be the element of surprise. The concept of giving gifts works wonderfully in the area of marriage. Especially if it seems the honeymoon is over. Try it and you’ll see what I mean. Go today and purchase something inexpensive for your spouse. Wrap it and attach a note, “Thinking of my special” or whatever you feel you want to say. After the initial shock, you’ll be surprised at how it can change the tone of the relationship for days to come. Do You Love Flowers? Design a Cutting Garden and Grow Your Own

Monday, February 25th, 2008

By Larry Gildea If you love flowers and enjoy having them in your home but cant afford buying cut flowers, flower gardening is for you. Too much work? Dont have time? Hate the weeding, watering and fertilizing? Well, take heart, cutting gardens are easy to establish and fun to care for. Think of all that beauty around you every time you set foot into that fantastic garden. Cutting gardens can be traced back to the sixteenth century. If you dont have space for a full sized cutting garden, grow a perennial or annual flower border around you vegetable garden or lawn. There is nothing magic or complicated about planting a cutting garden. The same steps that apply to a flower garden apply to a vegetable garden. They’re simple: a) Location b) Design c) What to plant d) Soil selection and preparation e) Maintenance A flower bed for a cutting garden should be placed in a spot that gets plenty of sunshine. Find an out of the way spot where you will be free to work without worrying about getting in the way of other plants. After all, this garden is for producing flowers that will be harvested for use in indoor spaces. Since this garden is for production, dont worry too much about how it looks. Layout depends on how much space you have. Long rows are the easiest to plant and maintain. If the space limits you from planting in rows consider, planting in square plots or beds. Make sure you layout the beds with space around them for maintaining and cutting the flowers. Flower gardens are no different that any other garden. The soil is the primary key to your success. The soil should be loose but not fall apart when you squeeze some in your hand. It should not form a solid ball either. The soil should hold moisture but also allow the moisture to drain away. Once you have tested the soil you can go about bringing it up to your specifications by working in organic material such as compost and peat moss. Once this is accomplished, work in a slow release fertilizer. Apply enough fertilizer to last through the growing season. Always contact a specialist at your garden supply store or nursery for answers to questions about composting and fertilizing the soil. Now the decision as to what to plant. Simple, plant the flowers you like and enjoy. Dont settle on annuals alone. Plant perennials, too. Bulbs and some foliage plants must also be considered. ear. Your flower garden will require watering. Dont sprinkle the surface of the soil. Sprinkling only penetrates the soil and inch or two and will encourage shallow root systems on your plants. Plants should be watered weekly down to 5 to 6 inches to assure deep root systems and plenty of moisture. You may want to consider a drip irrigation system. Drip irrigation systems assure an optimum supply of water is available. Most importantly, a drip irrigation system will allow for air to be available constantly. Heavy watering saturates the soil and causes extreme fluctuations in moisture and aeration. Drip irrigation systems are easy to install and relatively inexpensive for a small garden. These systems dont require the amount of time on site a hose watering system does. Also, if you wish you can set them up with a timing system. Cutting flower gardens have been grown specifically for making flower arrangements for several centuries. Growing a cutting flower garden is as simple as following a few simple steps: location, design, soil preparation. If flowers help brighten your life, dont spend another growing season looking around your local supermarket or floral shop for some nice flowers to buy to brighten up your home. Grow your own and have whatever you want. Its just a matter of starting. Copyright Larry Gildea, All Rights Reserved. Wedding Anniversary Party - Who Else Wants Organizing a 50th Wedding Anniversary Event?

Sunday, February 24th, 2008

By Eddy K Elgin Many people who are married are always looking forward to this very day in their entire lives. Especially for couples reaching the age of 50 years old, they are always looking forward to their wedding anniversary. If you are one of them and are thinking organizing a 50th wedding anniversary event for your parents, relatives or even close friends, then there are a few matters you have to consider. What To Include In The Celebrations? There are different matter that symbolizes a period that a couple has married. As gold is the traditional symbol for a 50th wedding anniversary, youll may want to include gold into the dcor. With those who are budget conscious, you can do with very inexpensively with gold ribbon, gold candles, or by adding gold stars to ivory candles. Also, you may want to paint the invitation card gold in color to further enhance the occasion. Although most people may not have much trouble compiling a guest list just because the “young” couple has had 50 years of accumulated friends and associates, this is the perfect kind of party for a small, intimate gathering. If for example, you were to invite some 6 to 10 couples and their immediate families, there will be ample time and space to move around the house and listen to their marriage building experiences and stories. It might be a surprise to the golden couple or simply involved on the planning stage, when you are planning a 50th wedding anniversary party. Only when you are very close to them, it not encouraged for this kind of party as a surprise. Women, especially start dreaming about planning a 50th wedding anniversary event much like they once dreamed of getting married in the first place. She or they might have plans of what kind of party they would like this to be. How To Get Greetings and Well-Wishes From U.S. President? It is simple to request greetings from the White House for the occasion. For people who are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary or their 80th birthday and beyond, the White House will send a card signed by the president for the happy occasion. They ask that you send your request six weeks before the event and they will send the greeting out ten days before the event. This is something most people do not know, so why are waiting for, go on ask the U.S. President for his blessings. If you have access to memorabilia, a scrapbook detailing their 50 years together would make a wonderful gift. Old pictures, accomplishments, mementoes, highs and even some lows could be chronicled here. Some light entertainment such as a simple video of the couple 50 years life or a short skit would also make a great gift for the couple. You may also want to leave time for toasts and warn guests ahead of time that youll be calling on them to toast to the special couple. When it comes to this type of celebrations, presents can be a sticky issue. Some people choose to ask for donations to a favorite charity in lieu of gifts. Some people still bring a gift. Theres no right or wrong answer on this. As you are organizing a 50th wedding anniversary event, keep the wishes of the golden couple in mind and try to honor any requests they have made. Understanding the fact of a good planning of a 50th wedding anniversary event that are easy to follow and implement and now allowing you to side-track is really allowing you to enjoy this memorable time once again. Stop Boredom Eating!

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

By Annette Colby Hello! I just need some advice please! I try to eat healthy and work out on a regualr basis, but I constantly eat when I am bored, even though I am not hungry. I get bored and keep wandering into the kitchen and grabbing all kinds of snacks. How do I stop this habit? While there are many diverse reasons for overeating, one trigger is boredom. Boredom eating is surprisingly common. Research has reported that almost half of all adults turn to food to stifle feelings of boredom, or to manage a negative mood. Most people realize that food works to temporarily distract us from the boredom while also calming and soothing the body. However, several problems exist with boredom eating: its only a temporary patch for boredom, it quicky becomes a habit, and it can lead to unwanted weight gain. Boredom is an important signal. It is an inner sign that life that is not being lived to its fullest, most enjoyable expression. Boredom tells us we have become weary of a life that is dull, monotonous, repetitive, and routine. We can feel the uncomfortable energy inside just waiting to expand into a fuller and larger life. The energy may be uncomfortable because it has no direction to go into. Its just swirling about with nothing to anchor itself to. However, the feeling of boredom and energy connected with boredom is not a bad thing. Its the energy required to follow through with a passionate idea or desire. Boredom invites us to take a breath and delve a bit deeper to explore personal passions and desires. Suppressing boredom with eating only serves to put life on hold. Increase Joy Certainly, food can bring moments of feeling good. For some its a joyful sugar rush, or the comfortable numbness of an overly full belly, while for others its the calm that comes when food triggers the release of the soothing brain chemical serotonin. Using food to alleviate an uncomfortable physical feeling is not a bad thing. Everyone wants to feel better, and no one is a bad person for turning to food to ease the discomfort of boredom. There is no reason to punish yourself for doing something pleasurable. What you might notice is that boredom eating doesnt make the actual boredom go away. At best it creates a few moments of distraction, or a few moments of temporary relief. At worst, boredom eating leads to a soon unconscious, yet powerful repetitive habit of eating to feel better, and many unwanted pounds. What is needed are more joyful moments! Joyful experiences that are even more rewarding, more gratifying than eating. It might be argued that we each have a joy set point. Meaning an internal regulator which determines how much joy we can feel. Boredom is our way of showing ourselves that we have outgrown this joy set point. Boredom is a signal we give ourselves to allow ourselves greater joy, and greater aliveness. It may take some effort, but we can have a huge effect on how much joy we allow. The joy and aliveness sought does not come from outside sources such as food, but from internally deciding to focus on thoughts and actions which support our own happiness. Each day provides limitless opportunities to increase joy. Check inside and notice where personal interests lie. Perhaps activities such as writing, art, dance, a new career or business, helping people, getting involved in a sport, going back to school, learning, nature, socializing, or book clubs might sound interesting? Determine to write down a list of alternatives to boredom eating, a list of things you like to do. Carry this list with you, or tape it to your refrigerator. Decide to explore different directions, act on the decision, and take note of each success. Your mission in life is to find what brings you joy, live what brings you joy and share this joy with others. When you live and share what brings you joy, your life will be fulfilled. You will be guided from the inside out, rather than by what someone else thinks is right for you or what you perceive someone else wants you to do. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Helping people let go of self-destructive thoughts, emotions, and behaviors has been the life work of Dr. Annette Colby. Home Equity Loans: Abusive Lending and How to Avoid It

Monday, February 18th, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Dan_Johnson]Dan Johnson Home Equity loans were initially designed to allow individuals who had not yet paid off the full amount of their home, the ability to borrow against what portion of the home they had paid for. So for example, a couple who had been making monthly payments for many years on their 30 year lease, could use the money they had already put into their home as collateral when they needed a loan to send their child to college. So, while the initial intent of the loan is regarded by some as noble, in practice it has served as a free-for-all for unscrupulous lenders and other scam artists. Explaining Sub-Prime Lending Home Equity Loans fall into a broad category known as sub-prime lending. Unlike prime lending, which is heavily regulated and offered to those living in good neighborhoods with fair to good credit, sub-prime lenders target those in bad neighborhoods with worse credit ratings. Because they offer loans to individuals who otherwise might have difficulty finding a loan, they were and are able to justify to the government the need to have greater free reign when it comes to setting the interest rates and finance charges associated with their loans. This window, combined with the deep pockets of Home Equity Loan firms able to grease the campaigns of politicians, has prevented the industry from coming under the heavy scrutiny and regulation of prime lending. Consequently, what is seen in this industry is widely varying interest rates, and charges that are completely disproportionate with the risk incurred by the lending institution. How to Protect Yourself For the investor interested in taking on a Home Equity Loan, there are a few measures which can be taken to radically diminish the chances of being taken advantage of. The first precautionary step is to request a copy of the loan a full week before you sign it. The lending institution is required by law, to provide you with a copy of the loan many days in advance of you signing it. It is a rather simple task to ask for the loan, and the lending institutions response often reveals much about the quality and legality of the loan. If the lending institution says, that either the loan paperwork is not yet ready, or otherwise fails to produce the paperwork inside of a week prior to the signing, you should walk on the loan. The catch-22, and consequently the reason why Home Equity Lenders are able to take such advantage of borrowers, is that often they are facing foreclosure and desperately need the loan. While your need may be very real, signing a sub-standard loan will ultimately put you in far worse shape than you ever were before. Recognizing the Hidden Charges The second, and potentially most important technique to prevent predatory lending, is to demand that all loan costs not be rolled into the APR, but be listed and paid by you up front. What predatory lenders do to entice individuals into taking a loan, is to soak up the equity in a home and offer you a small kickback on the side. So, taking the example of our couple above, let us imagine that they have $50,000 in equity in their $100,000 home and have a fixed mortgage rate of $650 a month. They then go to a Home Equity Lender who tells them that upon signing the loan they will get $20,000 in cash and their new interest rate will be $580 per month. What they do not tell the borrower is that they have also cashed out the other $30,000 dollars in equity and paid it to themselves in “refinancing fees.” In addition, the new mortgage they receive may either be variable, meaning that as interest rates climb so will their new payment, or be back loaded, meaning that by the end of the loan the payments may reach $1,200 a month. Can Home Equity Loans be useful? Yes, but only under ideal circumstances. By and large, they are a product designed by unethical lending companies to take advantage of those desperate for a little cash now. If you plan on applying for a Home Equity Loan, it is vital that you take the two steps outlined above as well as have an experienced independent third party go over the loan and its convoluted terms with you. Improve Your Tanning Bed Experience With The Right Tanning Bed Supplies

Saturday, February 16th, 2008

By Tim Gorman If you’ve recently purchased a commercial tanning bed then you know how satisfying having one can be. After all, now you won’t have to make anymore trips to the local tanning bed center the whole time wondering if you can justify the cost of a few more tanning sessions before you go on holiday. Now that you have your own tanning bed you can use it whenever you like and safely as long as you keep to the manufacturers specified usage recommendations. Unfortunately, as soon as you start to think that you have no more costs you find out that there are still things that you need to buy even if you own your own tanning bed and that’s tanning bed supplies. Actually, the list of required or essential tanning bed supplies isn’t all that extensive and you can actually buy many of your tanning bed supplies quite cheaply if you know where to look. The one place that you should definitely not consider buying your tanning bed supplies from is your local tanning bed shop. If they sell supplies, such as tanning lamps, bulbs and lotions, as well as the tanning beds they could be quite expensive and you might pay more than you would normally have to for your supplies. Naturally, the tanning bed supplies they do offer for sale isn’t where they make most of their money so they will not be selling the amount that they would need to in order to pass along cheaper deals. Usually the best place to buy your tanning bed supplies is online. These suppliers not only have a very large selection of tanning bed products they also have a lower overhead and operating costs which allows them to pass these savings on to their customers. You can get some very good deals when ordering tanning bed supplies online and although you may have to wait a day or two for your supplies to arrive in the mail the quality is usually quite good with many of these online tanning bed supply companies enjoying repeat purchases from their customers. You will most likely notice that the main cost to you will be for your tanning bed lotion. You can buy this locally if you don’t want to wait or if need some quickly although you will most likely not get the same price from your local store and you do need to make sure that the lotion that you buy is the right one for a tanning bed and not just a lotion than is meant for normal outdoor sun tanning use. There can be a difference and it is best to check with the store when you buy your tanning bed lotion in order to make sure that you have got the right one. Other than goggles, lotion and the occasional tanning bulb or lamp there should not be a lot of out of pocket cost for tanning bed supplies and you should be able to enjoy your tanning bed without breaking the bank.
